Preview Error

Hi all,

I am all the time receiving this arror message:

TITLE: Microsoft Report Designer

A connection cannot be made to the database.
Set and test the connection string.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Login failed for user '(null)'. Reason: Not associated with a trusted SQL Server connection. (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 18452)

What should i do?

Hi,

you are trying to logon with your datasource object as a SQL Server login, but your SQL Server doesn′t accept mixed (this includes SQL Server as well as Windows) authentication. So either switch your server to mixed authentication or switch your datasource objects security context to Windows (Integrated) Authentication.
